'Ann' Glass cocktail cabinet

An elegant vintage glass cabinet that has been upcycled to a high standard by hand. The surface was prepared, primed, painted then lacquered. The hardware was removed, cleaned and re-coated with a gold effect lacquer. Inside, there are two glass shelves and the back panel and base have been decoupaged with a beautiful floral/bird design fabric that complements the colour and style of the cabinet.
This is unique piece of furniture that would definitely make a statement in any room of your home.
This piece was pre-loved but still in excellent condition, so deserved to be preserved and upcycled as she still has many years left to serve her purpose.
I have worked extremely hard preparing this piece prior to hand-painting with a quality chalk paint, complimented by the gold effect key, lock and hinges. This piece oozes elegance, style and character.
Finally, finished with several coats of lacquer to ensure it is hardwearing and fit for purpose. 'Ann' has been upcycled to a high standard so that she can be enjoyed for many years to come.

‘Ann’ has been lovingly restored by hand, by myself and with this in mind, was preloved and has had a previous life. You may find small signs of wear because when I work on individual pieces of furniture, I consider it a piece of artwork, therefore, I try to encapsulate the past along with maintaining the character. Also there may be slight imperfections or flaws due to the nature of the individual craft being used during the upcycling process which is completely carried out by hand. I believe all of these things to be features that add to the character and uniqueness of each piece I recreate.
